A Container for Memory

I designed this piece on the subject of 'Identity'. The purpose of this project was to create a container for a set of pre-euro Irish Punt coins. The idea with this box is that it would create the feeling of a constant re-discovery for the user.

The patterns etched on the stacking boxes are abstractions of the details found on each coin.
